Each instructor brings a different experience to the practice of yoga based on his or her experience, inspiration, and teaching philosophy. To learn more about individual classes, we encourage you to read about the instructors.
Level 1-2
A moderately paced class, designed to build core strength, flexibility, and a calm nervous system. There is often emphasis on breathing and healthy alignment of the body/mind. Recommended for students with an understanding of basic yoga postures, or for those students that feel that they are physically fit and don't mind learning the basic yoga postures as they move through the class.
Level 2
Recommended for students with an understanding of the basics of yoga who would like to challenge their ability. A more challenging class designed for those with an on-going yoga practice. Advanced postures and methods of practice will be introduced. Not recommended for beginners.
Sunrise Yoga
This class is for people that like the early morning hour. The class varies day-to-day with a combination of gentle stretch often followed by heat generating sun salutations. The practice accommodates all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis. This is a great way to start the day.
Restorative
A series of gentle postures done with the use of props to fully support the body and deepen the benefits of poses. These soothing experiences allow the mind and body to recover from the stress and strain that comes into our lives every day. By fully relaxing the body, this class effectively relaxes the mind. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is therapeutic and is also an excellent complement to more to a more invigorating yoga practice.
Vinyasa
Vinyasa yoga is series of postures that will often link the breath with movement. Pranayama (breath work) and meditation are often integrated in to these classes. Appropriate for all levels, this class is both soothing and invigorating-a perfect way to let go at the end of a busy day.
Pre & Post Natal Yoga
During this extraordinary time in life, create a nurturing bond between yourself and your baby through yoga.
Enjoy this wonderful approach to prenatal care with the expectation of experiencing a radiant pregnancy and healthy delivery. You will learn many ways to ease the physical discomforts that come with being pregnant while enjoying the company of other pregnant woman.
This class is also appropriate for those wanting to regain a holistic balance to health after birth, this community of women will support you every step of the way.

Yin Yoga
In Yin Yoga the poses are held for long periods of time (up to 10 minutes per pose). These are primarily seated poses. The goal of Yin Yoga is to work the connective tissue in the body. Yin classes tend to be very meditative. We suggest Yin Yoga for the experienced yogis and yoginis. Yin Yoga is a great compliment to a more active "Yang" practice.
Kids Yoga
Yoga teaches children and pre-teens how to be in their bodies and make choices from their hearts. Yoga’s philosophies and the yoga poses develop strength, flexibility, coordination, focus, self-confidence, communication, and self-love. These skills and qualities are invaluable and help to foster a grounded individual for navigating life in the contemporary fast paced world. In the kid’s and then the pre-teen yoga classes, we explore yoga poses, breath awareness, and yoga games, while in a safe, fun and caring environment. Yoga also helps children and pre-teens to learn to create a community for support, release and relaxation in their daily lives. Cost for these classes are $10/session.
